It takes time and study to learn about the pieces, and more to integrate them in our own understanding, experience, practice. The layers of details and other conceptuals still have to be evaluated in context of a person's body type, current imbalances, age/time of life, season of the year, circumstances (such as first trimester, or postpartum 1 week or 12 months, etc).

MERCURY - FDA support against fillings in pregnancy and children

We all know free mercury is a poisen. It is good news that the FDA is finally beginning to re-writing their policy against the fillings always used in almost all dental offices on children, "because they are cheaper and children's teeth change so fast, it isn't worth doing anything else" is the reason given by most dentists and parents for using them. And with pregnant women!

The news - provided by OCA - Organic Consumers' Advocates or Association, not sure which. They are doing very good work for us all.

This sounds real, and has been the hope with the incoming administration here. When I can get another moment (or 10) I'll send a note about postpartum window and practices around the world, and Ayurveda's ancient yet so timely and effective gifts now to explain use of the wisdom of the wise women around the world whose traditions don't have the level of problems we see today when used.

China currenty has 13,000 infants hospitalized; how to protect from melamine laced foods

Hopefully you all have heard about it, and in any case are not using such powdered or other food products. The dog and cat food poisening a couple years ago was also from the melamine causing the recent severe health risks and deaths in China from infant formula cut with melamine.

The following excerpted from email being passed around, is not quite accurate - the bar code thing is only sometimes helpful as discussed in detail on Snopes.
