This is especially for our core cookbook team, Sonya, Uma and Ysha, but contributions are MOST welcome from others with background in appropriate ayurvedic postpartum foods. Please let me know if you would like to test some of the postpartum recipes and give feedback! It will be important to be organized about it, though it is kinda first come/first choice which group of recipes you would work on.

Anyway, there are several things we want to establish in doing this before you begin, including most important below. Your feedback or refinements as needed may include the following;
- would you change it and how?
- Any brief descriptive comments
- recipes identified by weeks appropriateness postpartum
- quantities for measurements and for how many served
- appropriate use of garlic - additions in particular
- taste and appearance including shapes and colors
- we will be removing most tofu recipes
- vegan options
- wheat and gluten free options
- variations on a standard or ethnic variations way of preparing something
- additional recipes and ingredients such as okra, fresh dill, fresh methi (fenugreek), seaweeds, and ethnic
- removal of Braggs Aminos
