Scheduling discussions 2007

Here's what's cooking, not scheduled yet. Hoping especially Sonya, Har Kaur, Gaura and Uma can join me early on to make needed communications and establish when you can attend and assist with as part of your "trainer training". Each of you having gifts beyond mine also in different ways, I really feel this a sisterhood, group project! As you know, I'm wanting to minimize my travel and yet see the service to families grow!

1) Albuquerque - Dr. Lad's annex - it is time this week to contact them about stiil open weekends. Amy Uma will assist, for the Foundations of Postpartum Care/Cooking (now called Level 2, Unit 1). Uma and I discussed whether to require any Ayurveda foundations, and she feels most of the students will come from Dr. Lad's school/associates, prequalified. YEA, we don't have to organize that part!

Uma also felt it would be easier to leave it open to the "public" who want to come, like Dr. Lad's other classes are, with an intro first few hours on Friday, then those who commit will be involved in the whole weekend, whether they have had formal AyurIntro classwork or not. Lots of cooking! She is familiar with how they teach cooking there, so her being a student there anyway (2nd year) and familiarity with the location will make it though a big project, much easier! Dates, costs, then publicizing to do.

2) FYI, in Sedona, we have no agreements yet, just strong intro meeting happening over Thanksgiving week with Ruth, friends of Rex and Judy, who is co founder of www.7Centers.com, Yoga/Ayurveda training/retreat center with MOther and Baby project foci also! Would you three let me know if your schedule is already booked over any weeks in the spring, and how much you might want to participate?

3) ANyone in touch with Har Kaur? She isn't answering phone or email. I hope she is ok? She had mentioned a colledge in Santa Fe? where ayurvedic curricula are being introduced, and the mother/baby program talked about as part of also their massage curricula.

4) Boulder - Wanting to time classes there with Sarita's visit, for advanced and continuing ed options. Her travel window is getting decided now she says, for US 07.

5) Kanyakumari is postponed a year, attentions went elsewhere instead of advertising for the AyurDoula program, but they are still excieted about it (Milwaukee).

6) Florida - discussions though delayed like all of them with this crazy astrological window we have been in, Gaura Priya is wanting to become a trainer there and the Florida Vedic College expressed desire to sponsor. Gaura visualizes it happening in the spring, which means decisions now, dear one! Looks like this may become a correspondence followed by in residence internship program with similar precepter hour requirements, but I have friends in FL I want to visit!

7.......!) Requests for classes and possible organizers are coming from many places - Asheville, Eugene, California, et all.

Looking forward to working together!
Love
