I have a friend whose daughter is about 25 weeks pregnant. She was in a car accident a little over a year ago which caused the pancreas to swell (I think it hit the steering wheel). She's diabetic which doesn't help the situation. For a while she's had dinner and eaten nothing until the next day at noon to give the pancreas a break.
